Art is joy, inspiration, fantasy. It gives us sophistication and ingenuity. Art (works of art) is a source of inspiration for life, is the deck for spiritual ascension, is the mirror in which we can see hypostases of the soul – of each of us, of the creator. We need this mirror around us in our environment. It’s in our nature.
Many of us like that the space where we live in to have our personal signature in terms of interior design. To our happiness, the prejudice that the wall murals are only used in very high areas or large homes to mask the exaggerated height of the building, was able to be replaced by people’s curiosity for new and for modern and unconventional design. Finally, the limits of conservatism regarding murals exploded, putting more focus on details and artistic character, the painted walls transforming the space they represent into true works of art.
If until recently wall murals were used only in decoration of public spaces due to high costs, high workload and of course the size of the work, this technique is now widely used for what the French call “trompe l’oeil” meaning “tricking the eye”. In other words, this means that we can assign a completely new identity to a space due to the visual impact that a mural has on us, without even becoming aware of it.
Over time, art has played a major role in decorating people’s houses, especially those of a certain social status. Due to technological advances, we have today provided a wider range of art forms – some of which, however, having the advantage of being available for several types of buyers.
Interior decorating and matching your wall prints with the overall theme might seem a little discouraging, but as long as you focus on the colours, you’ll soon be able to work out the perfect blend! Or, if you can afford, you can hire an interior designer.
Interior designers can transform a bland room into something almost magical with a combination of color scheme, furniture, accessories and wall art. They use several types of wall art to bring walls to life, from paintings and posters to canvas print and acrylic artwork. It really depends on the type of house and its owners about what art wall works best for a certain property.
Good luck in decorating with art!
