Unbaked bars with oatmeal and chocolate are a tasty dessert, healthy and easy to do.
– 1 cup butter
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 3 cups of oatmeal
– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
– 1/2 cup peanut butter
Butter a medium rectangular tray. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the brown sugar and vanilla. Incorporate the oatmeal and let them on heat for another 2-3 minutes, until the mixture becomes as homogeneous as possible. Divide the mixture into two equal parts and spread half of it in the bottom of the tray, pressing well.
Melt the chocolate flakes and peanut butter together in a small saucepan, at low temperature and mix to smooth the cream. Add the mix over the dough in tray and spread it evenly. Add the rest of the composition with oatmeal and gently press with your hands. Leave the dessert to cool for 2-3 hours.
Serve the bars at room temperature. If you want to remember the taste of childhood, eat them with a glass of warm milk.
